Our History
Five years ago, a group of young people from the Tamborada Church dreamed of creating a social aid ministry called MIES. Their goal was not only to share their faith through evangelism but also to provide support to the needy communities of San Ignacio de Velasco, Santa Cruz. Although their initial efforts at coordination did not succeed and the project was put on hold, the idea was never lost.
Inspired by this initiative, the church leaders decided to revive the project and give it a more solid structure: a foundation. This organization was thus born, initially led by Brother Limbert Condo, Fidel Tapia, Leoncio Loayza, Andrés Condori, and Irineo Caihuara, as a response to a specific need of the church: to have formal representation before the State for its social activities.
It is worth noting that before becoming a foundation, the church was already working with children in need through the Compassion program, Compassionoperating under the name CDI-591. The foundation thus became the church's social outreach arm, enabling it to expand its impact and provide assistance where it is most needed.
